HSNPKC MEETING MINUTES JULY 2, 2008

President’s Report:

Thanks to Wayne and Nancy Harmon for the June picnic.

Treasurer’s Report:

Thank you letter and drawings from Lake Hamilton School 2^nd grade class.

DVD presentation to breeders’ symposium.

Thanks from Christi Merritt on behalf of the cancer fundraiser Walk-a-thon.

Membership Committee

Elaine Gratton has submitted an application. She has raised German Shepherds in the past and now has Siberian Huskies.

Obedience Committee

Classes going great with 21 in basic and 12 in puppy

Show Committee

Show is September 28-29, 2008. Toy Dogs of Central Arkansas will have an A-match at the show.  Still need drivers for 2 judges who are flying in for the show.  The Austin Hotel will now allow canine guests and are offering a good rate for show attendees.  Ads are due the 2^nd week of August.

New Business

Moved and passed a motion to donate $500 to NPCC scholarship fund for use of gym for summer obedience classes.

Dues are due.  $10.00 individual, $15.00 family

Everybody!!!   Get those ads in Tues. night.  If everyone just got 4 ads or 1 big one we will be okay. Otherwise we will lose money this year.

Business card size $35.00 with a card from the business is all you need, we will fill out the paperwork for you if need be at the meeting. I will forward from Melanie the full price info to everyone in a different e-mail.
