School Programs
In our school program, we usually visit a local elementary school with about six club member and their dogs and give a program to several classes. We start by providing some instruction to the children on how to behave around unfamiliar dog and dog will react toward them. After that, each club member introduced his or her dog with a little information about that breed. We then hold a question and answer period. In the remaining time, we break the children into small groups and allow them to go around and pet each dog. Our programs are always enthusiastically received by the children.
